In this tour, you’re in for a very entertaining adventure on a train that was built in the 1896. The Express consists of 5 wagons, named after the cities of Malaysia, through which the Express train will take its route. Each wagon is built for 16 passenger seats, with a total number of seatings rounding up to 80.
The Express trips are available only on certain days of the week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The train departures from the Tanjung Aru station at 10.00am, travelling to the end station of Papar, and returns to the station at 13.45. The Express trip includes a 45-minute stop in the city of Kinaurt, where you can leave the train and visit a Chinese temple located nearby. You will also be immersed into a wondrous beauty of jungles and nature, as you make a 45-minute stop at the last station, Papar. We’d like to asvise you not to overstay during your stops, to avoid missing the train’s departure, otherwise you’d have to camp out and wait for the next Express! During your trip you will also be served Asian cuisine on the train. Wishing you a great journey!
