Why charter from Langkawi
The Andaman Sea, on your own deck
Langkawi sits at the mouth of the Andaman Sea, a 99-island archipelago of limestone karsts, mangrove rivers and protected anchorages. Its westernmost berth at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club is one of the calmest yachting harbours in Southeast Asia: protected from monsoon swell, an easy hop from the international airport, and ringed by enough good restaurants that an arriving party never has to fend for itself.
Embassy Alliance has operated dinner cruises and private charters out of Langkawi since 2008. Our fleet covers the full spectrum, a standard sloop for an intimate family afternoon, a luxury motor yacht for a 36-pax corporate evening, and two daily sharing cruises that keep the per-head cost down while including the unlimited halal BBQ, twin jacuzzis and an open bar. We hold direct commercial contracts with every vessel listed below, no broker mark-up. The captain, the deckhand and the F&B team are vetted and trained by us; the same chef has prepared the satay station for nine seasons. For B2B partners, every itinerary is interchangeable: pick the boat first if seat-count is fixed, pick the route first if the brief is around an Eagle Square photograph or a 99-island day cruise.
Two practical notes for planning. The sunset cruise window (3:30 pm – 7:30 pm) is fixed by tides at Telaga Harbour and Royal Langkawi Yacht Club; we recommend confirming the booking 72 hours ahead so the BBQ provisioning and the alcohol licence are submitted on time. And while the BBQ menu is halal by default, the cocktail bar on the luxury package is full-strength, guests cannot bring outside hard liquor, but anything available on the bar list is part of the all-you-can-drink package.

Both cruises run the same 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm window with an identical halal BBQ buffet. Luxury sails from Royal Langkawi Yacht Club on a newer motor yacht, adds a full cocktail bar, twin on-board jacuzzis and the Eagle Square loop. Standard sails from Telaga Harbour on a classic catamaran with wine + beer (no cocktails) and runs along the Andaman Sea route instead of Eagle Square. Pricing for both is available on request.
