Tekek to Juara cross-island trek
7 km, around 3 hours, through proper Tioman rainforest from the west-coast village of Tekek over the spine to the quieter east-coast village of Juara. Monkeys, hornbills, butterflies. Slippery in the wet season.
Tiger Reef
The headline dive site at Tioman. Pinnacle reef with strong coral colour and density, schools of fusilier and trevally, frequent reef shark sightings. Best at slack-tide windows.
